pretty peonies | on my usual sunday shop the week before last, i stumbled upon some unloved and almost-dead peonies in the bargain bin - like, for less than £2 a bunch! and so i picked up a couple of bunches and revived them back to life. blogger bingo over here!
mexican meeting | arggghhhh so the day before i jetted off i had lunch with some of my favourite gals, charlie and claire, at one of my favourite restaurants, wahaca! and the best bit - i finally got to meet dr. pond too! we've been pals online for the longest time, and we've been to all the same places and know all the same people, we just have never met. and now we have. hurrah!
amazing amalfi | seriously. such an amazing week away. i have no words because i'm so blue to be back... there will be posts, many posts, over the next few weeks... but just not yet.
insta-fame | omg so the greatest thing (ever) happened to me while i was away; i woke up one day to a phone exploding with instagram notifs, and realised i had been regrammed by one of my faaaave accounts: @ihavethisthingwithfloors. to date the picture has over 21k likes, while my original? about 120. no biggie... #fame
throwback (un)shame | i mean, if that's not fame enough then check out this ridic picture of me that popped up over on the george blog last week, showing off one of my most fashionable outfits from when i was a child. i seriously am not ashamed of this outfit choice, and would 100% wear a version of that to this day...
coffeecoffeecoffee | literally, the coffee in italy was the worst. strange, considering that caffe nero's coffee is also from italy, but is some of the tastiest i've ever tried. needless to say, that first nero on my return to the grey skies of london was super memorable. yummm.
brighton big screen | i had the best weekend away in brighton thanks to ibis hotels and big screen brighton. full post to come, but i wishhhh i had known about this outdoor cinema set up before the closing weekend, because it was easily the best one i've ever been to.
eats eats eats | while i was away, so many great invites hit my inbox for some super tasty-sounding restaurant reviews! over the next few nights i'll be eating out a lot at some really great new and pop-up restaurant across london, and i'm puuuuumped to be trying some new places. keep eyes peeled!
