wishlist | needed: an easter eggventure

suede jacket : river island | floral dress : yumi | metallic bag : new look | vivienne westwood ring : garment quarter | happy sweater : sugarhill boutique | mink boots : new look | duster coat : apricot

the impending easter break is break-ing my heart guys; every single one of my pals is going away or will be with their family or their - ya know, loved ones over the weekend, which leaves me out in the cold. not ideal! so, to make sure that's ~not the case, i've been looking into quick breaks away in the uk on the many, many holiday booking sites that litter the internet. my biggest problem right now, and something i have only really noticed this year: all the best deals are for couples.

it's generally cheaper to book these  package deals for accommodation and travel, and certainly a hell of a lot easier; it saves all that hassle that comes with researching train times and room availabilities (such romance), but seeing the prices change when you hit "one person" instead of two, well... annoying is an understatement. but then! the hotel partnership was introduced to me in the week, and the timing could not have been more perfect.

the options for overnight guests are not limited to multiples of two, rather there's a choice of one, one and a kid, one and two kids, two and a kid - you get the gist, and the best part is that the price doesn't change per person. this is aweeeesome, mainly because there are destinations on site that i hadn't considered and that are a quick trip from london, so really it's been a beacon of light! i'm still pressing on with the trainline hoping to find some amazing last minute deals, but until then, there's a luxury break to bedford with my name on it...

if you have any last minute break suggestions of your own, i would ~love to hear them. after my quick jaunt to kent i am keen to see more of the uk when i have the time afforded to, and a long weekend by myself seems as good a reason as any. for now though, i'm off to river island to decide which of the five colours of that suede biker jacket would look better on me as i'm off eggsploring the english countryside on my own...
