ruby floral duvet cover and green stripe pillow cases c/o joules
moving into the new flat felt like i was purging myself of my old life, so with the new room came the obvious need for new bedding. when joules came a knocking, i couldn't look past the ruby floral duvet - for obvious reasons; the gorgeous pink and mint blooms kind had me sucked in instantly. my only idiot move was not ordering pillow cases to match the damn duvet!
i stupidly assumed that the duvet 'set' would include two matching cases, so only ordered two extras in the mint stripe for the underneath pillows. rookie error! thankfully i had some pale pink (of course i did) cases laying around that will do underneath the mint stripe until i can rectify the situation, and get my 'set' sorted out!

i really love the quality of joules' bedding - always have. i've always viewed their bedding as a bit of a splurge, so now that i have my lovely bed all to myself, i threw caution to the wind and just bloody went and did the thing, really! it's definitely given my new room an air of 'british adult' that it was previously lacking, although i don't suppose any of the other kitschy decorations really help to support that new found class.
oh well, one can only try.
what do you think of my new, fancy, adult bedding?
