it's super hard to tell in these pics so i don't expect you to believe me, but the newest scalloped edition to my handbag collection actually goes incredibly well with the newest addition to my maxi skirt collection; it's like a match made in heaven? so naturally, when i discovered this by coincidence on the hottest day of the year, it seemed like a good idea to let the fates have their day in the sun (so to speak)... right?
i love a maxi skirt. because, my legs? no. just no. and i don't do trousers, so when the weather doesn't allow for tights, a maxi skirt is a must. i found this one in new look a few weeks ago, and instantly fell in love with the floral print (cos duh it's me) and it's many pastel colours (double duh). at the time i had just recently procured my lemon scalloped satchel, and i thought it would look brilliant with that. and my pink scalloped bag. and my... oh, you get the point.
the cardigan in the pictures is purely for your eyes only. in reality, it was so stinking hot that the cardi didn't touch my flesh that whole day. i had my pasty white bingo wings out for the whole world to see, and to be fair, i couldn't have given less hoots who bloody saw.
