today i'm off to meet the girls at somerset house for a wee wander through the sony world photography awards exhibition that're on from may 1-18. we picked up the tickets through groupon (or similar)(i think) for about £6 each, which is a tidy little sum for a whole morning's worth of culture vulturing, don't you agree? i'll keep you posted on how that goes... naturally.
this dress is another love number, and yet another dodgy fit! the last two frocks i've tried from love have been in a size L and slightly big in areas; slightly too big is always better than slightly too small, right, so i decided on another L for this one too. rookie. error. as this is a swing style dress (online it says shift dress, so in considered my hips and bootay), it's oversized anyway, making this tent-like in appearance. i flippen adore the colours (obviously) and pattern (duh) though, so i'm hoping my mum can alter it a little once she arrives (in a few weeks!) so that it's a perfect fit.
i am literally in love (ha!) with this outfit; every single one of my favourite colours is represented, and i get to wear some of my favourite accessories too! long live adorable brooches and sun-appropriate eye wear!
