when the friendly folk over at oasap asked if i'd like to be part of their fashion blogger program, i absolutely jumped at the chance. although i'd never bought from them before, they're big names in the bloggersphere, and 10,0000 women can't be wrong. amiright?
i was hardly into the second page of dresses when this blue woollen number caught my eye. bright blue with sweet scallops and adorable exposed pockets, i just fell in love with it instantly. i used the size guide and opted for the large over the medium, figuring that i would just belt it if it were too big - because of the a-line cut, i assumed the hips would be fairly free; well, that's what i gathered from the size guide anyway.
when it finally arrived, i ripped the parcel open - so buzzing to try it on with the accessories i'd already decided on styling it with. well, i was downright gutted when i did just that and discovered it was completely ill-fitting. the top was far too big - despite my larger-than-life chest, yet the arms were slightly tight, and the hips - well, let's just say, they were not free, and my bum was almost completely exposed. not ideal.
