saturday was raiiiiny. i had a bunch of stuff to return locally, so once i managed to draaag myself out of bed circa 11am, i showered, dressed and just about headed out the door before i realised that my new brogues just weren't going to cut it. families of puddles had pooled the road and footpath, and there was no getting past. i headed back indoors for my new wellie boots, which i actually bloody love. i've never had wellies as an adult, but these short, black and bowy ones are an absolute dream. they were about £11 delivered, and the comfiest boots i've ever owned.
the best bit? they go with everything!
ps. i loved this outfit; so many textures in one place. from afar, it looks all very plain, but up close you could see the patterns in the fabrics collide, and clash, and i just thought it was pretty neat. (<- loser)
